What happens on this day
Join The Freedom Initiative, on Tuesday, November 2 for a two-hour virtual advocacy training that empowers the community to engage and educate policymakers on human rights and democracy issues in Egypt to their elected officials.
After the training, participants will have the opportunity to meet with their congressional offices to appeal directly for policies that can improve human rights conditions in Egypt.
The training will be held prior to the U.S.-Egypt Human Rights Dialogue, and we want to ensure that the U.S. continues to use its influence with the Egyptian government to respect universal human rights values.
